CAPILANO UNIVERSITY ROCKS!!!

INFO Week 2008

It was awesome! There were workshops, demonstrations, useful tips and loads of info.
I wanna take everything that I saw there!

Pottery at Capilano U.

The making of a Mixing Bowl.

More Pottery

A Plate.

A Triangle Bowl.

Bronze Pour

You can even create Bronze sculptures here. They actually have the facilities to do this stuff!

We got to see the Instructor and one of the students pouring Bronze into the student's sculpture. We don't see the sculpture itself because it is encased in a concrete basin filled with something that appears to stabilize the sculpture and that would also keep everything and everyone around it safe.

Clay and Bronze Sculptures

The Bronze figures in this video are some examples of what finished work in Bronze sculpture at Capilano U. can look like. It is simply amazing what is available for students to use and create with.

The IDEA Program Mural

Some of the IDEA Program students painted this in view of anyone interested in watching in the morning on Nov. 20th 2008. Awesome.

Ball Throw Effect
Another little animation that I did in Animation class at Cap.

Capilano University Life Drawing.

No Title
My first completed drapery piece.

Some of my older stuff.

The Three Little Pigs

A coworker of mine had requested this piece for a tattoo. He later had me change two of the Little Pigs to females. He wanted a representation of his family: Mother, Daughter and Son.

Life Drawing

This was from a Roman Bust.

Full Skeleton Model.

Some hands and feet that were also Busts.

Some short poses.

A collage of three final projects in Animation class. All these pieces, from the Roman Bust to this piece, were done in the Pre-Animation Course at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario.

Sweet Muse
Did this today while waiting for my car to be inspected.

My first Online Gallery!

Girl on a cruise ship railing
This was a piece I did on a break at work. I was inspired by Laurie B.'s work at the time.

Random Girls
Something I did during some free time in class.

Dog and Kitten
A couple animal drawings that I still have to work on a bit.

Purple sketches
I rather like the effect a different color than black has. I'll probably be adding to this piece. It's my most recent one.

Unfortunate Little Flour Sack
This is a little video I made in Animation class.

Alien Summer's Night
This is a very short clip that I did in Digital Animation Class.
